I don't understand

In football games the teams play until the end of the game. On every call in vote TV show the results are safely guarded and not released until the next day after every one was counted. Why then is the presidential election able to be won with a rough guess? Why do they make the vote sound like a battle? The vote happens now and he doesn't go into office till January for a reason. It's so everyone can be counted and we can look at the numbers and declare a winner. Not watch until we think it's them and call it. They are treating this like they are in a fight not an election. They can talk all they want now but the votes will never change. Nothing Bush or Kerry does now will affect what was marked on a ballot yesterday so what's the pain in waiting? Can anyone give me one really damn good reason why it's silly to count all the votes, tab them up and declare a winner based on the total votes?

Ok so I'm still watching but now it's just to giggle as I watch Tom Brokaw suffer from sleep deprivation. In fact it seems as the night wears on, all the news people I'm seeing are getting testy and easily distracted.

Alright I'm up kind of late and I'm unfortunately watching the news. I don't want to talk about Bush or Kerry really but I do want to talk about what I just heard. They were discussing Ohio when someone said "Why should we wait for all the votes? He has most of the vote now.". I am going to try desperately to now comprehend why anyone would wonder why we should wait for every vote to be counted. Everyone who voted is supposed to count. I'm hearing them talking about votes that count and some votes that don't count. I am very frustrated at this time with the electoral college and our current system of voting. Primarily the lack of uniformity in voting machines and the antiquated way the whole process is handled. Does it really have to be this difficult?

Hee hee hee my hasn't it been ages since I posted. For anyone caring to know I am still alive and well. Jobless again but alive and well. I have decided that I hate technical support with a fiery passion that burns brighter than that of a thousand suns. I don't want to work in that kind of environment anymore unless it's a Mindspring kind of call canter. I'm going to be keeping this short, I wanted to post before formatting. My computer is getting a new Hardrive! It's bigger and will help alleviate some of that pesky lack of space. I would have the old drive as a slave but there is a friend in need. My old 80 gig is being wiped and reinstalled on his system so that he no longer has to suffer with only 8 gig. Wish me luck!

I have found a site to entertain myself at work. I had a good laugh on tuesday at the column. Not because it was necessarily funny but because he went off on how cool Gargoyles are. I agree of course and I think he really should make a company that does only buildings with gargoyles. Take a look, read some of the articles. Laugh a little, it's good for the world. I got 2 presents in the mail!!! I am now the proud owner of Drive the 2 disk best of Glay and Malice Mizer Live at Budokan DVD. I am so happy because now I have more than vid files to watch. I love Mana, definitely one of the prettiest girls I've ever seen...but he's not a girl. The music is great and so are the outfits, YAY!

Memorial Day Vacation?

Argh....I have memorial day off and paid, this shouldn't be a bad thing. I had planned on doing may things since I usually have sun and tues off, Memorial day would have made 3 days off in a row without having to take vacation time. I still get the day off but due to a staffing error(right) I was asked today if I could work Sunday. Guilt ridden me had to say yes and now I sit here trying to be happy that at least my 2 days off will be in a row instead of with a day between them. Crap crap crap crap poop pooptastic fuck! ~sigh~ alright that made me feel a little better. Still miss the idea of 3 days off, why do I have to be so accommodating?

I love technology, it's so fast and simple. I can go online and look at my bank, talk to my mother daily, sign up for just about anything and look up what ever I want whenever I want without a library card. I hate technology because, well, I guess I don't hate it I just hate that I haven't got enough money to buy all the things I want online. It's oh so tempting to buy things especially since my favorite things to buy online are things that I can't readily get in this country. I'm posting this because I just bought a Malice Mizer DVD. I am so excited to get it but saddened by the fact that I can't buy more. Oh how I want to buy more. Must work hard to keep spending demons at bay....I hope I have the strength to battle my urges. If not, I may be completely broke with a great Japanese Music/DVD collection.

I love the Weekly World News. Life has been going mildly as of late. Been watching a ton of new movies with tamdragon and I'm getting pretty far in FFX which means I may soon be fighting both tamdragon and the BF for FFX2 time. I hope all is well with everyone, I know I've ben an anti-social butterfly for quite some time. Speaking of which, tamdragon and I have been talking about getting out to a club. Perhaps it will happen in the near future. I think that'll be fun because it's been so long since I've been dancing. As per my usual I am off to watch several hours of anime before attempting productivity today. I miss you all!!!

I had to format my system today. I'm pissed off as all hell. I didn't lose any info but I do have to reinstall The Sims. Other than that the holidays were decent. I spent allot of time with the family, mostly because my mother moved out of town today. She has decided to work in a hospital in Ogden Utah. She told me she's moving back the second she feels freaked out about living around all the Mormons again. I did get her into the habit of flipping people off as a gesture of affection.....hee hee hee evil child. The other part of it was the food. My mother cooks allot of good food. I hope everyone was able to have a few good times this season.

BOO! Yes I do live in the world still. For anyone wondering where I may have been.....First of all I was moving. Secondly I was having to live with a 33.6 connection and therefore refused to get on the Internet until that was fixed. My fathers house has now been updated and I am in it with my brother while pops is out of the country. This is good since I got sick of my job sucking my soul dry and quit. Life is going along slowly and I hate having to live in this heat. I would have posted before now but there has been WAY too much anime to watch here for me to get online. Sometimes I think I need a passport just to come home.......I love that feeling ^_^

Ok so I think one of these days I'll actually make it out to a club...I have been itching to go. I miss everyone but up until now I was only going to peoples homes because....well because I was broke and feeling anxious. I hate feeling that way around people so I stay to small crowds. I am feeling good about work and things so I don't feel so skittish. I am still broke though hee hee so I can't go out till next Friday.....I hope I get the promotion at work...I would like more money. Randomly bad week

So at my work there are 2 people in arm braces. Someone got bit by a dog, I read now that Tammy bumped her nose and I too am victim to this accident and injury prone week. Last night I had some sugar...it was caramelized and some of it fell on my fingers. At first I reacted like you would to hot water,I shook my hand. Then I remembered it was sugar. So my hand burst into searing pain. My middle ring and pinky were coated in sugar..Screaming commenced and ice was added. That felt better. 20 min later...took my hand out of ice and it started throbbing and burning so badly I had to put it back. Stayed up till 2am when I wrapped my hand in ice and taped it to stay while I slept...today I can have it in the air but no touching the blisters. Oh what a pain.......

Well I made it to the weekend. Had a really fun time a Tammy's tonight. We played a good round of Top Shop....I WON! Ohhh what a week. I have been moved to a 5day 8hr shift. No more beautiful 3 days off for me. It's not a bad deal though I am only doing 11-7:30 so not only do I sleep 2 hours later I get off work 30 min earlier. So there is an upside to everything.

Hmmm well I am hoping to make it to bed before the sun rises. Hard to do some days. I have been playing in photoshop again. I put them here. I managed to unpack a few things today. Cleaned a bit and now I am waiting for this CD to finish burning before I go to sleep. An overall productive weekend. One more load of dishes and that just about covers the kitchen. Next weekends task is the living room. Gotta set up the book shelves and CD racks. Doesn't my life sound so fun. Sage is doing his part to help out. He can be so sweet ^_^ Miss you all.
